Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is among the greatest and most rich Reggae Singers. He was a member of Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996. With Father Like Son and several singles: Judge Not with Patra then Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia all of which added to his growing reputation in the new wave of reggae singers. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up along with Praswell (Fugees) to record Avenue a hit cover version that was a cover of the song by Eddy Grant Electric Avenue. Marley was a guest at Midem (international music festival) in the year it was held at Miami in the very first time. Marley performed at the Cameo Theatre which was live broadcasted to 36 other countries. Marley was the focus of bidding battles. In 1997, he signed with Gee Street/V2 Records. He was there to finish an album with P.M. Dawn who recorded the track Gotta be Movin"On Up. Bob Marley, his wife Anita Belnavis (a table-tennis champion) along with their son, who is just one child.
